We take steps to not leave any footprints behind

Compañía de Galletas Pozuelo is committed to continuous improvement and is promoting initiatives to reduce its environmental impact, among which are:

It consists of switching from fluorescent bulbs to LED tubes in the Packaging Areas, Gym and Restaurant Areas. This is expected to reduce 3677 Kwh per year.

It refers to the replacement of toilets and lavatories in the Maintenance Area, with others more efficient. This saves 56 cubic meters per year.

For this, the Pozuelo Staff, in conjunction with an advisory company, conducted the carbon footprint life cycle study of the Tosh cookies in the 2015 period.

From this analysis we determined an inventory that was validated by Colombia’s INCOTEC as a certification entity, which allowed us to identify the steps to follow.
